Kuemper was able to control the match with Audubon on Thursday earning a 5-1 advantage in singles and sweeping through the doubles matches for an 8-1 win. The Knights were 48-13 in games in singles play and won doubles games 24-7, finishing 72-20 in games against a hard working Audubon team. Kaylie Simons, Sophia Tidgren and Kaia Neumann of Kuemper all won their singles matches 8-0 with Charlotte Schwabe earning an 8-2 win and Bella Lu picking up a 8-3 win. Alice Adam of Audubon battled hard to win her singles match 8-8 (7-3), picking up a win for the Wheelers. Kaylie Simons and Ella Schwarte earned a hard fought 8-1 win in doubles with Sophia Tidgren and Charlotte Schwabe and Karsyn Lampman along with Julia Craig winning their doubles matches 8-3.
The top ranked Knights head to Denison Schleswig on Friday. Audubon is back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Southwest Valley.
