Addy Beiter earned Medalist honors as the Knights took 2nd place on Wednesday at the CYO Tournament. The Knights had three golfers in the top 7, led by Beiter with an 82. Elsa Tiefenthaler added an 95 and Giada Lujano shot a 96. Bishop Garrigan won the meet with a 379 with Bishop Heelan taking 3rd with a 410. Adalynn Pietig was the Knights fourth scorer with a 121. Gabby Buscher of Bishop Garrigan shot a 90, earning Runner-Up Medalist.
Addy Beiter paced Kuemper with an 82, shooting 40 on the front and 42 on the back for a consistent day. She ended her round with 9 par’s and a birdie. She shot birdie on hole 5 while having four straight par’s on holes 15, 16, 17 and 18. Elsa Tiefenthaler shot a 95, going 44 on the front and 51 on the back nine. She had a par on hole 17 with birdie on holes 5 and 7. Giada Lujano added a 96 with a 46 on the front and a 50 on the back. Lujano shot par on four holes, including 15, 16 and 17 with a birdie on hole 1. Adalynn Pietig went 58 on front and a 63 on the back for a 121. She had a par on hole 13.
Kuemper hosts their own tournament on Friday.
