Kuemper earned the team title as well as Medalist at the CYO Tournament at Lakeside on Wednesday. Braxton Vonnahme won Medalist, leading the Knights with a 79 while the other five golfers all had strong rounds in the 80’s, helping Kuemper edge Gehlen Catholic 328 to 329 for the team title. St Edmond was in 3rd as the meet was a three team race, shooting a 335. Kayden Schon added an 81 for the Knights with Dawson Billmeier shooting 82 and Jack Lenz adding an 88.
Kuemper will host Denison Schleswig on Thursday.
