Boys Golf Results Monday, April 28th
Carroll and Kuemper Boys At Denison Schleswig Invite
Kuemper used good balance to finish in 2nd place on Monday at the Denison Schleswig Invite, finishing with a 334. The Knights had all six golfers finish in the 80’s, allowing them to edge Storm Lake (337) and Shenandoah (343). Storm Lake had three golfers in the 80’s and their fourth score in the middle 90’s while Shenandoah had a low 80 and three scores in the upper 80’s. Carroll shot a 352, taking 7th place with all four of their scoring golfers in the upper 80’s. Atlantic rolled to the team title with the top three finishers individually and five guys finish in the top six place. Tristan Hayes of Atlantic was the Medalist with a 76 and Sam Brosam of Atlantic earned Runner-Up Medalist, also shooting a 76. Gage Gross of Atlantic was 3rd with a 78.
Kayden Schon led Kuemper with an 81, taking 7th place and Garrett Babe was 10th with an 82. The Knights got an 85 from Braxton Vonnahme and a 86 from Jack Lenz.
Carroll was led by Mac Collison with an 87, followed by Jake Jorgensen and Weston Bogue, both shooting 88. Moyer Olberding added an 89 for the Tigers.
Kuemper along with Treynor and Atlantic head to Harlan on Tuesday while Carroll travels back to Denison Schleswig against the Monarchs.
