Carroll played a strong game against, nearly rallying from a 4-1 deficit but falling 6-4. ADM scored 1st to take a 1-0 lead with 28:55 to go in the 1st half. Carroll tied it later in the half but ADM pushed back in front with 6:17 left in the half and led 2-1 at half. ADM added a pair of quick goals in the 2nd half, taking a 4-1 lead, scoring at 37:29 and 32:04. Carroll answered with back-to-back goals at 23:07 and 22:53. Carroll had the momentum but trailed 4-3 when ADM took the momentum back, scoring with 21:04 left in the match. Carroll trailed by two but kept fighting, again pulling within a goal, scoring with 14:49 left. They had a chance, down 5-4 but ADM stretched the lead back to two with 10:18 and held on to win.
Luis Caldera and Landon Petersen both scored a pair of goals with both having an assist. Caldera, Petersen and Kieran Polking combined for 12 shots. Jeisson Avilez finished with 8 saves.
Carroll falls to 3-5 overall and will face Kuemper on Monday at the Carroll Athletic Stadium.
