Drake Relays Results and Interviews Thursday, April 24th
Cal Heydon of Coon Rapids Bayard competed in the Shot Put with his best throw of 48-11.25. Heydon scratched on his opening attempt, then rebounded with throws of 48-00.75 and 48-11.25. He finished in 16th place. Trevon Keely of Paton Churdan competed in the High Jump, tying for 9th place after clearing 6-04. Keely cleared the opening height of 6-02 on his 1st attempt, then made 6-04 on his 2nd attempt. He was one of 13 jumpers to clear 6-04 and move to 6-06. His 3rd attempt was his best as the bar hung for a moment before falling. He barely clipped it going over. Keely finished in a tie for 9th place.
