The game was moved to an indoor facility in Sioux Center due to the weather forecast with Spirit Lake able to start quickly. The Indians scored three minutes into the game. The Raiders settled in and played better but Spirit Lake added a goal with 25:00 left in the half. Two more Indian goals over the final eight minutes of the half gave them a 4-0 lead at half. East Sac moved the ball well but Spirit Lake was able to use their speed to stop most attacks. East Sac finished the game with 3 shots, with Chloe Bieret, Jordin Carroll and Larissa Bussinger all having 1. Spirit Lake put the game away early in the 2nd half, scoring 3 quick goals, then added 3 more in the final fifteen minutes of the game. Denae Thayer had a strong night in goal for East Sac, finishing with 26 saves.
The Raiders fall to 1-6-1 and will host Carroll on Thursday.
