Kuemper looked impressive knocking off St Albert in every match on Tuesday, including a big win for Mason Reicks in #1 singles. Reicks had more control of his singles match as he was able to attack the backhand and kept his opponent moving. He made less mistakes in volleys, allowing him to break Noah Narmi early and get an advantage. He won 8-5 to put Kuemper up 3-0 in singles, thanks to an 8-1 in by Max Reincke and an 8-3 win by Carter Running. Kuemper earned a pair of comfortable wins in the second batch of singles matches with Landon Pottebaum winning 8-0 and Braxton Lu winning 8-1. Luke Schulte battled in the #6 singles to win 8-6, clinching the team win for Kuemper. The Knights were 48-16 in singles games. Max Reincke and Braxton Lu controlled their doubles match, winning 8-0 and Landon Pottebaum teamed with Emmett Juergens to win 8-2. Mason Reicks and Carter Running had to fight, holding on for an 8-6 win to complete the sweep. The Knights were 24-8 in doubles games, finishing 72-24 in games.

The Knights heads to Ballard on Thursday along with Creston.

Max Reincke and Braxton Lu of Kuemper won 8-0 over Sawyer Sheffield and Ollie Juranek of St Albert 

Landon Pottebaum and Emmett Juergens of Kuemper won 8-2 over Ben Hoy and Ben Buyske of St Albert 

 

 

Audubon At Southwest Valley

Audubon won their second straight dual match, nearly sweeping Southwest Valley on the road. The Wheelers clinched the win in singles and were able to switch up some of their doubles teams, finding a new group that appears to fit well. They rolled in singles, winning all six matches, going 48-12 in games. Carson Matthews won 8-0 while Sawyer Toft, Fred Harris and Colin Hartl all won 8-2. Isaac Jackson and Kayden Otten each earned an 8-3 win. The Wheelers won two of the three doubles matches, going 20-20 in games. Sawyer Toft and Colin Hartl won 8-2 with Kayden Otten and Fred Harris putting on a fun show in an 8-6 win. The Wheelers were 68-32 in games overall.

Audubon returns to action on Monday when they host Council Bluffs Jefferson.
