Kuemper had two of the top five scorers on Tuesday, helping them finish 2nd in team scoring with a 366. Des Moines Christian shot a 356 to win it, showing great balance with three of the top four golfers and all six of their girls finishing in the top 8. Addy Beiter of Kuemper earned Medalist with a 79 with Courtney Latham of Des Moines Christian winning Runner-Up Medalist with a 85.
Beiter paced the Knights with a strong day, shooting a 79 with Elsa Tiefenthaler adding an 89. Giada Lujano and Ella Pick both shot 99 to help the Knights.
Kuemper heads to Panorama on Monday for a quad with Des Moines Christian and Woodward Granger.

South Central Calhoun won a tight match with Coon Rapids Bayard on a perfect day for golf in Lake City. The Titans got a career best from Kyra Bruns, earning Medalist along with strong scores from Adlen Wheelock and Charissa Nowatzke, both scoring in the mid 50’s to shoot a 218, winning by four strokes over Coon Rapids Bayard, which shot a 222 with Brielle Bass leading them while earning Runner-Up Medalist. The Crusaders had all four girls in the 50’s with Ella Heithoff shooting her career best.
Kyra Bruns led the Titans with a 49 and was the only golfer under 50 on the afternoon. She won Medalist honors. Adlen Wheelock added a 54 and Charissa Nowatzke added a 55 with Kaitlyn O’Neil rounding out their scores with a 60.
Brielle Bass was the top finisher for Coon Rapids Bayard, shooting a 51 to win Runner-Up Medalist. Kerra Hart added a 56 with Ella Heithoff adding a 57 and Mallory Schroeder finishing with a 58.
South Central Calhoun hosts West Bend Mallard at Twin Lakes on Thursday. Coon Rapids Bayard heads to Boyer Valley on Monday.
