Carroll At ADM

Carroll participated in a tough and deep meet on Thursday on a night, their fifth meet in the last eight days. Carroll scored in eight events, finishing with 43 points, good for 7th place. They earned a championship in the long jump and had three other 4th place finishes with two in individual events. ADM won the meet with 317 points, followed by SE Polk 277.50 and Carlisle with 175 points.

Landon Mrla continues a strong start to the season, taking 1st in the Long Jump with his best jump at 20-05.00. Gavin Holt was 4th in the Shot Put and Blake Molinsky was 4th in the 800 Meters. Carroll finished 4th in the Shuttle Hurdle with Carson Tedrow, Lincoln Burke, Michael Rowedder and Landon Mrla.

IKM-Manning At Underwood 

The Wolves showed their depth on Thursday, scoring in seventeen events with several of the individual events having two people score team points. The Wolves finished 3rd with 98 points, one point behind Griswold, with Underwood winning the meet with 129.50 points. IKM-Manning scored in eleven individual events and six relays with a relay champion along with a pair of 3rd places and two more events taking 2nd place.

Ben Ramsey, Wyatt Danner, Camden Morris and Kasche Huehn teamed to win the 4×800, running a 9:06.15. Max Butler was 2nd in the 200 Meters and Tyson Smith finished 2nd in the 400 Meters. Abe Polzien added a 3rd place in the 800 Meters and was the anchor for the 3rd place 4×400 relay with Max Butler, Tyson Smith and Ben Ramsey.

Audubon, Glidden Ralston and Paton Churdan At ACGC

The meet was cancelled due to the weather after the boys 400 Meters and the girls 4×200 so no team scores were kept. All three of the area schools had scored in several events before it was stopped. Audubon had the most success, scoring in six events with a 2nd place and three-3rd place finishes. Paton Churdan had a pair of champions, scoring in two events and Glidden Ralston scored in five events with three-6th place finishes.

Mason Steckler, Gabe Jense, Brody Schultes and Carson Wessel took 2nd for Audubon in the Shuttle Hurdle. The Wheelers grabbed 3rd place in both the Sprint Medley with Mason Steckler, Aiden Kjergaard, Brody Schultes and Adam Obrecht and the Distance Medley with Mason Kasperbauer, Gabe Jensen, Brody Schultes and Aiden Kjergaard. Lane Meyer added a 3rd in the Shot Put.

Trevon Keely continued his strong start to the season for Paton Churdan, winning the 100 Meters in 11.55 and the High Jump, clearing 6-04.

Glidden Ralston finished in 6th place in the 100 Meters with Colton Rohrbeck, 3200 Meters with Joseph Thielen and Jonathan Bergmeier in the Long Jump.

East Sac At Manson NW Webster 

East Sac scored in twelve events on Thursday, finishing in 6th place with 61 points. The top of the meet was controlled by SE Valley, who won the meet with 148 points and MVAOCOU in 2nd place with 115 points. The Raiders scored in eight individual events with one of them having two kids in the top 7.

Riley Aragon gave East Sac a champion, running a strong 3200 Meters in 10:48.41. Tyson Jackson took 2nd in the 100 Meters.

Coon Rapids Bayard At Colo Nesco At Nevada

Coon Rapids Bayard set a new school record and won three events on Thursday, taking 8th place with 40 points. Baxter won the meet with 151 points and Lynnville Sully added 133 points for 2nd place. Cal Heydon had a strong day, winning the Shot Put with a New School Record with a throw of 54-00.25. The Crusaders were really good in the sprint relays, taking 1st in the 4×100 with Mason Culbertson, Cal Heydon, Parker Hays and Caden Oswald. They ran a 44.72. They also won the 4×200 in 1:35.16 with Mason Culbertson, Cal Heydon, Parker Hays and Caden Oswald.
