Audubon earned a pair of wins in singles with Carson Matthews battling hard to earn a 9-7 win and Isaac Jackson dominating in #1 singles, winning 8-1. The Wheelers played well in the other matches, suffering an 8-6 and 8-5 loss along with an 8-4 loss in #6 singles. They finished the match 34-40 in games, showing how close the match was. Isaac Jackson and Carson Matthews pulled them with 4-3 in matches, winning their doubles match 8-3 but Red Oak clinched the team win, winning the final two doubles matches. Audubon was 14-19 in doubles games, finishing 48-59 in games overall. They were very competitive in nearly every match.
The Wheelers head home on Thursday to face Harlan.
