East Sac boys golf traveled to Manson NW Webster to take on 3 other schools. East Sac had Jack Gullett, Zach Jacobsen, Carter Erritt and Kason Schroeder shoot in the 40’s with a very nice team effort all around. East Sac took second only losing to Alta Aurelia by 2 strokes. Lucas Baker of Alta Aurliea took home medalist while shooting a 40. Jack Gullet of East Sac had a 42 which was enough for runner up medalist.

IKM-Manning faced off with Missouri Valley on Monday at home. IKM shot a good day posting a team score of 198 and winning the face off. IKM took home the medalist with Kael Renze who shot a 46. Missouri Valley answered with Layton Maasen who shot a 46 as well. IKM took home the win behind two guys in the 40’s and two in the 50’s. Overall a good night for the Wolves at home.

Coon Rapids-Bayard and Glidden-Ralston competed at Woodbine against Rolling Valley conference competition. Coon Rapids Bayard took second with a 171. They had the runner-up medalist Max Shirbroun who shot a 38. The Medalist was Chase Jahde of Cam who shot a 37. Glidden-Ralston took 6th and has a good performance out of Mason Dunn who shot a 45. They also had another mid 40 round out of Jackson Whitaker.

South Central Calhoun hosted 3 other schools in boys golf on Monday. SCC took first in a very close match as they shot a 172. Emmetsburg was one stroke behind and took second with a 173. Emmetsburg had the medalist with Carter Hudson who shot a 36. Southeast valley had the runner-up with Will Comp who shot a 37. SCC had golfers all in the 40’s and a very strong team performance. Their best performance was a 40 out of Caleb Gaffney.

Carroll boys golf competed in their second meet of the season over in Ballard Monday. Carroll took 2nd with a team score of 184. Ballard shot a really nice meet as they shot a 158 and had many guys compete for honors. Alex Weeks of Ballard shot a 38 for medalist. Jamin Colvin of Ballard shot a 39 for runner-up. Carroll’s boys now drop to 1-1 on the year as they next compete at the Carroll National Thursday.
