Boys Golf Results Saturday, April 12th 

Audubon At CAM Tournament 

Audubon finished 6th in a tough field on Saturday, shooting a 360 with their top four golfers all finishing 98 or below. Earlham led the pack with a 309, followed by Woodbine with a 325. The individual battle for medalist was thrilling with Keith Thompson of Hamburg edging Chase Jahde of CAM. Thompson shot a 69 with Jahde finishing with a 70. Davis Doud of Earlham was in the hunt shooting a 73. Oliver Deist led the Wheelers with an 81, followed by Sully McClain shooting a 90, Aiden Kjergaard had a 91 and Ryan Hermansen ended with a 98.

The Wheelers head to Panorama for their tournament on Friday.

Coon Rapids Bayard and South Central Calhoun At Greene County Tournament 

Coon Rapids Bayard and South Central Calhoun battled for second place at the Greene County Tournament on Saturday, which was played at both the Jefferson Community Golf Course and The Hill with teams playing 9 holes at each course. The Crusaders edged the Titans, shooting a 346 with all four scores for Coon Rapids Bayard between 83-89. South Central Calhoun was a stroke behind, finishing with a 347 with a Caleb Gaffney leading them with a 76, followed by three golfers between 87-93. Roland Story won the tournament with a 337 with Greene County finishing 4th with a 349.

Logan Kenyon led Coon Rapids Bayard with a 83, followed by Gavin Heiderscheit with an 85, Landon Cook and Max Shirbroun both shot 89.

Caleb Gaffney led South Central Calhoun with a 76, Halas Steig added a 87 with Caleb Juhl shooting a 91 and Noah Hendricks a 93.

Coon Rapids Bayard heads to Shadow Valley for a Rolling Valley Conference Meet on Monday. South Central Calhoun hosts SE Valley, GTRA and Emmetsburg on Monday.
