Kuemper and Panorama At Webster City

Kuemper had three golfers shoot 39 but Webster City slipped past them for the team championship, winning the 4th score by six strokes. The Lynx shot a 161 with two golfers shooting 38 along with a 40 and 45. The Knights were two strokes behind with a 163 with their fourth score a 46. Panorama was also in the hunt, finishing with a 165. The Panthers earned the Medalist with Parker Cary shooting a 37. He was their only golfer under 42. Cael Nixon and Luke Frirsching, both of Webster City each shot 38 with Nixon earning Runner-Up Medalist.

Braxton Vonnahme, Dawson Billmeier and Kayden Schon all shot 39 for Kuemper with Jack Lenz and Garrett Babe both adding 46’s.

The Knights are off until April 21st when they head to Spencer for their tournament.

IKM-Manning At Treynor

Kael Renze of IKM-Manning earned the Medalist honor with a strong 39 on Friday in Treynor but the Cardinals won the meet 193 to 198. Renze was the only Wolves shooting under 40 and Ashton Ahrenholtz added a 46. The Wolves had two players in the 50’s while Treynor had three golfers in the middle 40’s and their fourth score at 54. Bradley Stock of Treynor was Runner-Up Medalist with a 44. Layton Lorenzen added a 54 and Jayce Ferneding shot a 59 for the Wolves.

Audubon At Tri Center

Audubon had five of their six golfers shoot in the 40’s but Tri Center on their home course had all six scores in the 40’s, helping them edge the Wheelers 175 to 178. Evan Wham of Tri Center earned Medalist with a 41, edging Oliver Deist of Audubon, who shot a 42, earning Runner-Up Medalist. Henry Burr added a 42 for the Wheelers to finish in 3rd. Burr and Deist helped Audubon to tie the Trojans in the top two spots in the lineup. Tri Center a 45 and a 46 for their next two scores. Aiden Kjergaard and Sully McClain both shot 47 for the Wheelers.

St Edmond At South Central Calhoun

South Central Calhoun earned a nice win on Friday, beating St Edmond by eight strokes. Caleb Gaffney paced the Titans with a 37, earning Medalist with Caleb Juhl of South Central Calhoun and Ty Mericle of St Edmond sharing Runner-Up Medalist, with both shooting a 40. The Titans had five golfers in the 40’s with their other two scores in the low to middle 40’s. St Edmond had five of six golfers in the 40’s, shooting a 42, 43 and 47. Charlie Nattress added a 42 and Halas Steig continues to shoot well with a 44 for the Titans.

The Titans are back in action on Saturday at the Greene County Tournament.
