Carroll At Greene County

Greene County 2

Carroll 0

Greene County was able to take advantage of a pair of Tigers miscues to earn a win at home. They scored a goal in each half with the first coming with 27:59 left in the 1st half. The Rams goalie kicked the ball and it sailed over the Tigers heads with Greene County winning the foot race and scoring before the Tigers defense could recover. The score was 1-0 at half as Carroll fought hard with Jeisson Avilez ending the game with 9 saves. Carroll struggled to get looks on the offensive end, finishing with 4 shots on goal. The Rams stretched their lead with 23:55 remaining in the match, pushing the lead to 2-0. The goal came on a PK after the Tigers were called for touching the ball with their hand on a high pass. Avilez nearly made the save on the PK.

Jeisson Avilez had 9 saves for Carroll with Kieran Polking, Cameron Schweers, Landon Petersen and Ian Quandt all having a shot on goal.

The Tigers are 2-2 heading into a road game at LoMa on Friday.

Jeisson Avilez 9 Saves

Kieran Polking 1 Shot on Goal

Panorama At East Sac

Panorama 1

East Sac 0

East Sac took 14 shots with 6 on goal but weren’t able to push one past the Panorama goalie as the game was played outside the 25-yard line on both ends of the field most of the game. Panorama scored in the early part of the 1st half and nearly scored a second goal, but an offsides wiped it out, keeping the Raiders in good shape. The defense was strong in a physical game that made it tough for either team to good looks at the goal. Brendyn Conn played well in goal, making several stops, including a key save on a PK late in the game. The Raiders tried to pressure late in the game but Panorama was just good enough on defense.

Riley Aragon led the Raiders with 3 shots on goal with Wyatt Smith adding a pair of shots on goal and Tyson Herrig getting their other look at the net. Brendyn Conn had 11 saves.

The Raiders are 2-1, having suffered their first loss of the season. They host Riverside on Monday.

East Sac Stats

Riley Aragon 3 Shots on Goal

Tyson Herrif 1 Shot on Goal

Wyatt Smith 2 Shots on Goal

Brendyn Conn 11 Saves
