Carroll took on Greene County in a chilly night game. The Carroll Girls were searching for their first win of the season as they came into the game winless. Carroll’s offense clicked early and kept on rolling as the tigers ended the half up 3-0. With the wind in their face in the second half the scoring was not as abundant but the tigers managed two more goals to win their first game of the season in front of their home crowd. The vibes were high as many girls celebrated and cheered on their teammates in their most successful game of the season so far.

Panorama At East Sac

East Sac battled hard, holding down a strong Panorama offense in the 1st half before the Panthers were able to use a strong wind to their advantage in the 2nd half to pull away for the win. The Raiders defense was extremely strong in the 1st half, allowing only 2 shots on goal. The offense took advantage with Jordin Carroll scoring on a free kick with 17:30 left in the half. That put East Sac up 1-0. Panorama took advantage of a PK later in the half, tying the match at 1 with 4:13 left in the 1st half. The game was tied at 1 at half but Panorama began to find some creases in the Raiders defense in the 2nd half. They scored 8:00 and 10:00 into the half to take a 3-1 lead. East Sac was struggling to get the ball deep into Panthers territory in the 2nd half, only able to get a few shots. That allowed Panorama to stretch the lead, scoring three more goals to win 6-1.
Jordin Carroll scored the Raiders lone goal and had 2 shots on goal. Chloe Bieret led the Raiders with 4 shots on goal. Denae Thayer finished with 13 saves.
East Sac slips to 1-2 overall and will host Riverside on Monday.
