Boys Track Results Tuesday, April 8th 

Kuemper, Paton Churdan and South Central Calhoun At Ink Wunderly Relays At South Central Calhoun 

South Central Calhoun depth helped them have a strong performance at their home meet on Tuesday, taking 2nd place with 119 points, behind Madrid, which won the meet with 154 points. Paton Churdan finished 5th with 47 points, slipping ahead of Kuemper, in 6th place with 45 points. The Titans had two championships in individual events while taking 2nd place in four events, three individual and one relay. Paton Churdan won three individual events while Kuemper won an individual event and took 2nd in a relay.

Redge Potts returned to the lineup for South Central Calhoun and looked strong, winning both the 1600 Meters in 5:04.05 and the 3200 Meters in 10:53.51. Potts won the 3200 Meters by nearly a lap. Derek Greene took 2nd in the 3200 Meters. Darius Eigsti continues to show promise as the freshman was 2nd in the 110 Hurdles and was the anchor leg in the 2nd place Shuttle Hurdle, running with Hayden Stickrod, Luke Patterson and Kylar Thompson. Marshall Bundt was 2nd in the Discus.

Trevon Keely continued the great start to his sophomore season. He won three events for Paton Churdan, winning the 100 Meters in 11.43, the 400 Meters in 53.19 and the High Jump, clearing 6-05. He nearly had 6-06, with his best jump, his third attempt.

Thomas Pottebaum paced Kuemper, looking strong in the 800 Meters, earning a 1st place medal with a 2:12.43. Pottebaum added a 2nd place in the 4×800 with Wyatt Wunschel, Ryan Sundrup and Evan Pick.

Audubon, Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston At Panorama 

Coon Rapids Bayard won an individual championship along with taking 2nd in two individual events and a relay, helping them finish in 9th place with 46 points. Audubon was our top local team, taking 7th place with 55 points with a 2nd place individual event and two 3rd place relays. Glidden Ralston ended their night in 12th place with 16 points with an individual taking 2nd. ACGC earned the team title, outdistancing Greene County 129 points to 92 points with Woodbine in 3rd with 85 points.

Aaron Olsen had the top finish for Audubon, taking 2nd in the 100 Meters. Olsen helped the Shuttle Hurdle finish 3rd along with Mason Steckler, Brody Schultes and Gabe Jensen. The Wheelers added a 3rd place in the 4×800 with Aiden Kjergaard, Jorgen Nowatzke, Paxton Beane and Carson Wessel.

Caden Oswald earned the only championship for the area schools, winning the 100 Meters in 11.44. He added a 2nd place in the 200 Meters. Cal Heydon was 2nd in the Shot Put and was part of the 2nd place Shuttle Hurdle with Johnny Cortez, Parker Hays and Ty Heydon.

Jonathan Bergmeier earned a 2nd for Glidden Ralston in the 110 Hurdles.

East Sac At Ridge View 

East Sac had a strong night, taking 5th place with 64.5 points, doing well in individual events, with a champion, two-2nd place finishes and a pair of 3rd place finishes. Westwood won the meet with 125.5 points and MVAOCOU was 2nd with 122 points.

Landon Sporrer and Riley Aragon dominated the 3200 Meters with Sporrer winning with a 11:04.55 and Aragon taking 2nd place. Sporrer added a 2nd in the 1600 Meters as the Raiders continued to show their strength in distance events. Riley Aragon was 3rd in the 800 Meters and Xander Hemer took 3rd in the 400 Hurdles.
