Kuemper took on Lewis Central in their home opener on Tuesday. Some slight winds out of the north kept the temperatures a little cool in the evening. Kuemper’s Cierra Pudenz opened the match with the first goal and Kuemper held the lead till one minute before the half. Going into halftime the match was 1-1. Lewis Central added 4 goals in the second half as Kuemper ended up on defense a lot more in the second half. Kuemper fell 5-1 at the end of their home opener.
