Lewis Central sprinted out to a 4-0 lead early in the 1st half and coasted to a win on Tuesday. The Knights struggled to get the ball out of their defensive end in the 1st half as the Titans kept the pressure on. Kuemper had a couple chances to score but the Titans were able to make the stop. Lewis Central kept the pressure on Kuemper in the 2nd half, winning 10-0.
Lucas Diehl was busy in the net, finishing with 20 saves or more. No details on Kuemper shot attempts was reported.
The Knights fall to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the Hawkeye 10. They head to Red Oak on Thursday.
