Kuemper was pretty dominant in their home opener on Monday, earning a 9-0 win over Atlantic. They controlled most of the singles matches with the #1 singles match being the toughest. Kaylie Simons battled, down 4-3 to earn an 8-6 win, breaking the serve of Lily Willrich of Atlantic to clinch the match. The match watch was tight all the way to the end with neither player leading by more than one game until the end. Kuemper was never in trouble in any of the other singles matches, going 48-10 in games. The Knights clinched the match winning all three doubles matches. The Knights went 24-5 in doubles, finishing the meet with a 72-15 record in games played.
Julia Craig and Bella Lu swept through their doubles match, winning 8-0. Lu had won her singles match 8-0, going undefeated on the day. Ella Schwarte and Charlotte Schwabe both won their singles matches 8-0, with Schwabe teaming up with Sophia Tidgren for an 8-3 win in doubles. Sophia Tidgren won her singles match 8-1. Schwarte teamed with Kaylie Simons for a 8-2 win in doubles.
