Carroll and Kuemper At Ogden Early Bird
Carroll earned a pair of titles at Ogden on Thursday, helping them score 67-points, finishing in 5th place. Kuemper scored 23-points, taking 12th place. Atlantic edged Madrid for the team title with 96-points to 85-points. Boone was 3rd followed by ELC. The Tigers strength was in the hurdle events, claiming two championships and a 2nd place finish. The field events helped both teams with Carroll taking 3rd in the High Jump and Long Jump with Kuemper earning 2nd in the High Jump.
Owen Klocke and Lual Tharjiath both ran well in the 110 Hurdles for Carroll. Klocke won in 16.23 with Tharjiath finishing in 2nd. The pair was also part of the championship Shuttle Hurdle relay along with Carson Tedrow and Michael Rowedder, who ran the 1st and 3rd legs respectively. Carroll won with a 1:06.14. Lual Tharjiath took 3rd in the High Jump with Landon Mrla earning a 3rd in the Long Jump.
Griffin Glynn was the top finisher for Kuemper, earning 2nd in the High Jump. Glynn was the only top three finisher for the Knights.

Ar-We-Va, Coon Rapids Bayard, IKM-Manning and Paton Churdan At Audubon Early Bird
Paton Churdan, IKM-Manning and Audubon had really strong nights with Coon Rapids Bayard performing well while missing a few kids and Ar-We-Va setting a new school record on a nice night to compete in Audubon. IKM-Manning had three championships along with three-2nd place finishes and two-3rd places. They broke the school record while winning the Sprint Medley. Paton Churdan won three events and finished 2nd in one other event. Audubon had three-3rd place finishes, all in relays. Ar-We-Va took 3rd, twice, both individuals. The Rockets added a new school record in the Sprint Medley. Coon Rapids Bayard had a 3rd place finish.
IKM-Manning won the Sprint Medley, setting a new school record, running a 1:37.52, beating the old record of 1:38.50. Max Butler, Brock Kusel, Ashton Ahrenholtz and Abe Polzien competed for the Wolves. Isaac Blankman, Ben Ramsey, Kasche Huehn and Wyatt Danner won the 4×800 in 8:53.03. Xaviore Diaz added another title, winning the 800 Meters in 2:18.72. Brock Kusel was 2nd in the 110 Hurdles, and was part of the 2nd place 4×100 along with Max Butler, Ashton Ahrenholtz and Abe Polzien. The Wolves added 2nd place in the 4×400 with Tyson Smith, Isaac Blankman, Ben Ramsey and Wyatt Danner. Max Butler was 3rd in the 100 Meters and Camden Morris took 3rd in the 1600 Meters.
Trevon Keely of Paton Churdan dominated the individual spotlight on Thursday, winning the High Jump at 6-04, the Long Jump at 20-00.25 and the 200 Meters in 23.01. He added a 2nd place in the 100 Meters.
Audubon was 3rd in the 4×800 with Aiden Kjergaard, Carson Wessel, Paxton Beane and Jorgen Nowatzke. They were 3rd in the Shuttle Hurdle with Aaron Olsen, Carson Wessel, Brody Schultes and Gabe Jensen. The Wheelers were also 3rd in the 4×400 with Aiden Kjergaard, Brody Schultes, Adam Obrecht and Carson Wessel.
Wyatt Ragaller had a pair of 3rd places for Ar-We-Va in the Long Jump and the 400 Hurdles.
Caden Oswald was 3rd for Coon Rapids Bayard in the 200 Meters.
