Boys Track Results Thursday, March 27th
Kuemper at Carroll Early Bird
The Carroll and Kuemper Boys competed in the Carroll Early Bird meet on Thursday. The Tigers finished third with 82 team points, and the Knights finished seventh with 30 team points. The Tigers had four champions, one second-place finish, and one third-place finish. The Knights had two champions, one second-place finish and one third-place finish.
For Carroll Landon Mrla was the champion in the Long Jump, which was a jump of 20 feet 7 inches. The Tigers earned another championship in the shuttle hurdle with a time of 1:06:59 with Carson Tedrow, Owen Klocke, Michael Rowedder, and Lual Tharjiath. Lual Tharjiath also added another championship in the 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 16.44. The Tiger’s last championship came from Blake Molinksy in the 1600 meter at 5:00:21. The Knights Championships started with Griffin Glynn in the High jump, where he cleared 6 feet 2 inches. The Knights’s Last Championship came from the 4×800 with Thomas Pottebaum, Wyatt Wunschel, Ryan Sundrup, and Fletch Badding, where they ran a 8:56:67.
