The Kuemper Knights season comes to an end as they fell on the road at number six Cherokee Washington. The game started close, but Cherokee Washington built a double-digit lead in the second quarter. The Knights would trail 9-8 in the first quarter, but the Braves ended the quarter with a 10-1 run. The Knights would trail 18-9 going to the second quarter. Kuemper would struggle with turnovers and Cherokee’s length in the second quarter. The Knights would be outscored 26-17 in the quarter. Kuemper trailed 44-25 at the half. Coming out of the lockerroom Kuemper was able to cut the lead to 44-33 using an 8-0 to start the third quarter. Cherokee Washington would lead 58-34 going to the fourth quarter. The Knights would go on to lose 68-45.

Kuemper had two players score in double figures. They were led by Elsa Tiefenthaler, who chipped in 13 points and six rebounds. Senior Karsyn Overmohle added 11 points and three rebounds in the loss. With the loss, Kuemper ends its season with an 11-12 record.
