IKM-Manning jumped out early, building a lead that floated between seven and twelve points most of the 1st half. Audubon had good looks but couldn’t get anything to fall until falling behind by thirteen with 3:52 left in the game. Oliver Deist and Brody Schultes hit some threes and Audubon turned up the full-court pressure, quickly cutting into the Wolves lead. The Wheelers used a 15-1 run to take a quick lead but IKM-Manning responded, going back up by one. The game was tied at 48, the final tie in the last 1:30 of the game. The Wolves went 14-16 from the free throw for the game and hit clutch free throws from Brock Kusel and Ashton Ahrenholtz to hold off the Wheelers. 

Ben Ramsey opened the scoring and after a free throw from Austin Christensen made it 2-1 the Wolves went on a 8-0 run with baskets from Ramsey and a three from Isaac Blankman mixed around a pair of free throws. The Wolves ball movement early was really good, finding cutters and making the extra pass. Brock Kusel and Ashton Ahrenholtz controlled the backboards as the Wolves built a 21-9 lead early in the 2nd quarter. The Wheelers kept fighting back with Austin Christensen leading the way with his hustle and relentless attitude. Mason Steckler hit a three late in the half and Christensen hit a free throw as the  Wheelers went on a 4-0 run to trail 27-19 at half. 

A Carson Wessel bucket to start the 2nd half pulled the Wheelers within 27-21. Ben Ramsey and Brock Kusel hit back-to-back threes as the Wolves stretched the lead to 33-21. IKM-Manning kept the lead around ten the rest of the 3rd, leading 35-26 and into the 4th quarter. Oliver Deist pulled Audubon within 38-30 with a free throw. Brock Kusel stemmed the tide with a bucket and Ben Ramsey pushed it to 43-30 with a bucket and free throw. Back-to-back threes from Oliver Deist and Brody Schultes ignited Audubon. Deist scored inside, pulling them within 43-38 and Brody Schultes hit a corner three, making it 44-41. Austin Christensen hit three free throws in a row and Aububon led for the first time, 45-44. Ben Ramsey got inside for IKM-Manning as they attacked the pressure and IKM-Manning went back up 46-45. Brock Kusel hit a pair of big free throws for IKM-Manning but Austin Christensen hit a jumper in the lane to tie the game at 48. Ben Ramsey drove the lane and was fouled, hitting both free throws and Ashton Ahrenholtz clinched the Wolves win with a pair of free throws. 

Ben Ramsey had a team high with 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists for IKM-Manning while Brock Kusel added 14 points and 6 rebounds. Wyatt Danner finished with 4 assists and 3 steals. Ashton Ahrenholtz had a big game on the boards with 8 rebounds and Isaac Blankman added 5 rebounds. 

Austin Christensen had a nice double-double for Audubon with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Brody Schultes added 11 points and Oliver Deist had 6 points. Austin Christensen added 4 steals and Aaron Olsen had 5 assists and 2 steals. 

IKM-Manning improves to 7-9 overall and 4-8 in the WIC. They host Treynor on Friday. Audubon falls to 7-9 overall and 2-6 in the WIC with a home game against Tri Center on Friday.

Paton Churdan vs West Central Valley

Paton Churdan struggled on offense as they fell at home to West Central Valley. The Rockets fell down early and had to try and catch up for most of the game. Paton Churdan would be down 32-18 at the half. PC would go on to lose 54-38. Seven different Rocket players scored in the loss. Phoenix Hartman recorded a team-high 15 points. Trevon Keely added eight points in the loss. Bryce Stephenson added a team-high ten rebounds for the Rockets. With the loss, Paton Churdan falls to 6-10. The Rockets are back in action on Friday against CAM.
