Girls Wrestling Results For Thursday, January 23rd

Audubon, Kuemper, Carroll, and SCC at ESC

The Audubon, Kuemper, Carroll, and South Central Calhoun girls wrestling teams competed at East Sac County on Thursday. The Audubon Wheelers finished the highest in the team standings out of the local teams. The Wheelers finished fourth with a score of 83. Kuemper finished with a team score of 63, which was good for sixth place. The Carroll Tigers wrapped up an eighth-place finish with a score of 52. ESC, who hosted the tournament, had a team score of 43, finishing in 9th place. The SCC Titans finished in 11th with 25 points. Three individual wrestlers came away with first-place finishes in their respective weight classes. Audubon’s Macy Rasmussen finished in first place at 115 pounds, going 2-0 with two pins. For Carroll, Emma Grossman and Emma Daniels picked up first-place finishes. Grossman and Daniels both went 2-0, picking up two wins by pin. Cara Schuette picked up a second-place finish for the Kuemper Knights, going 2-1 at the tournament. Olivya Mack and Melodee Rench finished in third place for the ESC Raiders. Meia Hefley finished in third for the Titans.
