Kuemper played well early but used the 2nd quarter again to separate themselves from an opponent on their way to a comfortable win. The Knights outscored Harlan 16-6 in the 2nd quarter to lead 37-19 at half. Kuemper shot 47.8% from the field including hitting fourteen shots from three, shooting 43.8% from deep. Their ability to share the ball well, finishing with 30 assists on 32 made baskets. The defense had 16 steals and blocked 5 shots while forcing 22 Cyclones turnovers. Kuemper kept the pressure up in the 3rd quarter, building a 63-38 lead.
Kuemper had four players in double figures, led by Tregan Beiter and Brock Badding with 16 each. Dylan Schon and Ryan Clair both scored 11 points with Clair grabbing a team high 14 rebounds. Carson Kanne had 8 assists and Jack Badding had 7 assists. Jack Badding had a team high 3 steals and Brock Badding and Ryan Clair both blocked 2 shots.
The Knights improved to 14-1 overall and will host Clarinda on Tuesday.
