Carroll and Ballard At ADM
Carroll split their duals on Thursday, topping ADM 45-26 and falling to Ballard 38-27. The Tigers went 8-6 against ADM battling back after losing to the first-four matches with a strong close to the match. Carroll won the final five matches with three by fall, a tech fall and a major decision. They ended the match with six wins by fall, a tech fall and a major decision. Carroll fell 8-6 in matches to Ballard, winning two by fall, three by major decision and one by decision. The Tigers kept it close with Ballard but lost the first-three matches and then never won more than one match in a row until the final three weights, winning 285, 106 and 113 to close the gap. All three of those wins were by major decision. Ballard clinched the match with a win in the final match.
