Girls Wrestling Results Saturday, January 4th 

Audubon and Kuemper At Clarinda Tournament 

Macy Rasmussen claimed another title for Audubon as the Wheelers had three girls finish in the top 3. Ashlyn Stewart of Kuemper earned a title for the Knights, leading three girls that finished in the top 3. Both the Knights and Wheelers had strong days on the mat with Kuemper finishing in 7th with 68 points and Audubon taking 8th with 67 points. The Knights went 14-16 in matches wrestled with nine wins by fall, three by decision, a major decision and one by injury default. Audubon ended the tournament 10-9 in matches wrestled with seven wins by fall, two by decision and a major decision. 

Ashlyn Stewart (115) won the title for Kuemper, going 4-0 with three wins by fall and a 16-6 major decision in the finals. Saide Smith (125) was 2-1 for the Knights, taking 2nd with both wins by fall. Cara Schuette (145) was 3-1 with a pair of decisions and a fall, helping her finish in 3rd. 

Macy Rasmussen (120) earned another title for Audubon, going 3-0 with two wins by fall and a decision in her finals match. Emily Foran (155) took 2nd for the Wheelers, going 2-1 with both wins by fall and Elena Harbour (140) going 3-1 with all three wins by fall, helping her finish in 3rd.
