Bondurant Farrar 23

Carroll was outstanding on both ends of the court on Friday, holding the Blue Jays in single digits in all four quarters while the offense clicked nearly all game. Carroll came out hot from deep, sharing the ball with the extra base on the perimeter and getting the ball inside, then kicking out to open shooters. Carroll built a 18-3 lead at the end of the 1st quarter, extending it to 37-11 at half. Katelyn Aden and Sophia Tidgren both finished with four made 3’s while the Tigers hit ten as a team. Jersey Sporrer and Bella Lu both drained a three in the 1st half. The Tigers were able to trap in the half court on the perimeter and inside on the block, forcing the Blue Jays to take contested shots or turn the ball over.

The 3rd quarter was a strong defensive performance for both teams as they both played man-to-man and were physical. Neither team could get much going with each team scoring 6 points. The Tigers made nice adjustments to start the 4th quarter and eventually pushed the lead over 35 points for continuous clock. Carroll was able to get a few things established inside offensively and again clamped down on the Blue Jays, holding them to 6 points.

Sophia Tidgren led the Tigers attack with 17 points with Katelyn Aden adding 16 points. Ali Kock added 8 points and Chloe Kock finished with 7 for the Tigers.
