Manson NW Webster closed the 1st quarter on a 7-0 run, then opened the 2nd quarter on a 6-0 run followed by a 12-0 run after a Titans bucket to blow the game open and cruise to a thirty point win. The Titans played well in the 3rd quarter cutting a twenty-seven point deficit to sixteen to start the 4th quarter. The Cougars responded and dominated the remainder of the 4th quarter improving to 3-0 and dropping the Titans to 2-1. 

Garrett Krause hit a three to get the Titans on the board, pulling them within 4-3. Andrew Anderson kept them close, hitting a bucket, making it 6-5. A pair of baskets from Cole Higgins pulled the Titans within 11-9. They hung tight into the final couple minutes of the quarter before the Cougars pulled away to lead 21-11 going to the 2nd quarter. Cole Higgins snapped the Cougars 13-0 run midway through the 2nd quarter but the Cougars outscored the Titans 20-3 in the 2nd quarter and led 41-14 at half. 

The lead grew to 43-14 early in the 2nd half but The Titans scored four in a row with Andrew Anderson pulling them within 43-18. Cole Higgins made it 39-14 with a free throw and Andrew Anderson hit a couple buckets as the Titans were more energetic in the 3rd. Cole Higgins hit a three and Halas Steig hit a pair of free throws before Cade Higgins scored to pull them within 47-30. A Garrett Krause three to start the 4th made it 49-33 but a 9-2 Cougar run ended the Titans chances. 

Cole Higgins had 12 points and 6 rebounds. Garrett Krause added 11 points. Andrew Anderson finished with 6 points. 

The Titans fell to 2-1 overall heading into their road game at Webster City on Tuesday.

Glidden Ralston came out aggressive, attacking the rim on the offensive end and working hard on defense to keep the Hawks from dribbling and penetrating the defense. Jonathan Bergmeier hit the only outside shot in the 1st quarter as the Wildcats built a 21-11 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. Woodward Granger focused on shutting down the Wildcats dribble drive in the 2nd quarter, opening up good looks from the perimeter and the Wildcats knocked down shots from the outside. The defense continued to lock down the Hawks, allowing seven points and leading 38-18 at the half. 

Both teams made runs in the 3rd quarter with Glidden Ralston leading 49-33 after three quarters. Woodward Granger locked down on the defensive end early in the 4th quarter, pulling within eight. Glidden Ralston responded, hitting free throws down the stretch to hold on for a 54-40 win. 

Colby Wallace had 17 points with 8 rebounds and 3 steals while Jonathan Bergmeier added 17 points with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Waylon Hein added 7 points to go with 6 rebounds and Dawson Majerus scored 6 points and blocked 3 shots. 

The win improves the Wildcats to 3-0 overall. They head to Exira-EHK on Tuesday.
