Carroll At Boone Invite
Carroll set three new records during a strong performance on Saturday in Boone. The 200 IM with Teagen Renze and Leegan Sease swam a 3:56.11, taking 1st place and breaking the meet record. The new record blew away the old mark of 4:11.14 and was a great start to the meet for the Tigers. Leegan Sease set a new school record in the IM, swimming a 2:03.60, topping the old record of 2:01.20. Teagen Renze broke a second record on the day as well, swimming a 53.40 in the 100 Back, surpassing the old Boone Pool Record of 50.75. Renze and Weston Toft finished 2nd in the event with a 1:56.43.
The Tigers won the Medley Relay with Teagen Renze, Leegan Sease, Landen Cadwell and Weston Toft swam a 1:42.75. Landen Cadwell and Leegan Sease teamed to win the 100 Breast in 2:10.97. The 200 Free Relay finished 2nd with Leegan Sease, Weston Toft, Landen Cadwell and Teagen Renze. Brody Skarin and Landen Cadwell finished 2nd in the 500 Free.
The Tigers finished 3rd in the team standings with 50-points, one point behind Marshalltown. Boone won their meet with 68-points.
