Carroll At Dallas Center Grimes Invite 

Carroll placed nine wrestlers on Saturday, helping them place 5th with 118-points. The Tigers had four wrestlers in the top three with three guys taking 2nd place. Carroll finished the tournament 17-22 with eleven wins by fall, four decisions and two major decisions. 

Owen Klocke (165), Kieran Polking (175) and Quinten Polking (190) all went 2-1, reaching the finals match. Kieran and Quinten both won both their matches by fall with Klocke winning by fall and decision. Klocke lost in the finals by fall while Kieran Polking and Quiten Polking both lost in the finals by tech fall. Jeisson Avilez (285) went 3-1, taking 3rd with all three wins by fall. Audubon placed four of their six wrestlers in top four, finishing a strong performance at the Dan Hill Invite. They scored 75-points, taking 9th place, just behind 8th place Perry with 75.5-points. The Wheelers were 10-9 in matches with eight wins by fall and two wins by tech fall, both 15-0.

Dawon Allen won a title for East Sac while South Central Calhoun had ten wrestlers place with five in the top 3. The Titans went 23-24 in matches with nineteen wins by fall, three decisions and a medical forfeit. They finished in 4th with 151-points. East Sac was 11-13 with seven wins by all, a major decision, a decision and two wins by medical forfeit. They finished 6th with 78-points. 

Brayden Werneburg (120) and Hayden Stickrod (165) of South Central Calhoun both finished in 2nd place. Werneburg went 2-1 with a win by fall and a medical forfeit. Coon Rapids Bayard At Woodward Granger Tournament 

Coon Rapids Bayard had eight guys place, taking 5th place at the Dennis Field Invitational on Saturday. They went 16-19 in matches with thirteen wins by fall, a tech fall and two wins by decision. The Crusaders scored 99.5-points, holding off SE Warren/Melcher Dallas, which finished with 98.5-points. 

Johnny Cortez (132) continued a strong start to the season, finishing in 2nd place, going 2-1. He won both of his wins by decision and lost by major decision in the finals. Tyler Mohr (285) and Treynor Cose (165) both went 3-1 with both winning all three of their wins by fall. They both finished in 3rd. Owen Reineke (113), Braydon Reineke (138) and Ethan Bauer (157) all went 2-2. Owen Reineke and Braydon Reineke both won their wins by fall with Bauer having a win by fall and a tech fall. Ezra Cortez (120) and Derek Harrison (215) both went 1-3 with both winning their match by fall.
