The game had nine lead changes and was tied once before Panorama went on a 8-0 run to start the 4th quarter and a 7-0 run moments later to pull away. The Wolves trailed 40-38 going into the 4th quarter foul trouble and a pair of injuries began to take its toll.
Taylor Beckendorf hit a pair of early free throws giving IKM-Manning the lead at 2-0 but Panorama went up 3-2. Laynie Gawley put the Wolves up 4-3 and Anna Stangl extended it to 7-3. The Panthers tied the game at 7 for the only tie in the game. Stangl scored four in a row and IKM-Manning led 11-7. Panorama responded with a 9-0 run and led 16-12 at the end of the 1st quarter. Anna Stangl pulled the Wolves within 16-14 to start the 2nd quarter. The Panthers went on a 8-0 run building a 24-14 lead. Anna Stangl pulled the Wolves back into the game, hitting three free throws followed by a pair of threes. The Wolves were down 24-23 and took a 26-25 lead on a three from McKenna Benton. Panorama went back up 27-26 at the half.
Keagan Eischeid kept the Wolves close in the 3rd quarter hitting a pair of free throws and a bucket. Emma Branning put the Wolves up 33-32 as four straight buckets changed the lead with Panorama taking the lead for good at 36-35. Anna Stangl hit a three late in the 3rd and the Wolves trailed 40-38 heading to the 4th quarter. Panorama scored the first-eight points of the 4th, going on a 15-3 run to take control of the game. Laynie Gawley hit a pair of free throws late, pulling the Wolves within 57-49.
Anna Stangl led the Wolves with 23 points and 4 steals. Keagan Eischeid finished with 11 points and 4 rebounds. Laynie Gawley ended with 5 steals and Oriah Meiners had 6 rebounds and 3 steals. McKenna Benton added 6 points.
The Wolves fell to 1-2 and will host Riverside on Friday.
