Audubon, AHSTW and Woodbine at LoMa
The Audubon Wheelers went 2-1 on Thursday at a quad, picking up victories over AHSTW and Woodbine. The Wheelers started their night off, picking up a 42-23 win over AHSTW. The Wheelers went 1-3 in matches wrestled, with Jack Stanerson picking up the lone win. Audubon, in the match, also picked up six wins by forfeit. In their second dual of the night, Audubon would fall to LoMa 60-22. The Wheelers went 4-5 in matches wrestled against LoMa. Jack Stanerson picked up his second win in the dual. Leyton and Lane Elmquist picked up wins by fall in the dual. In the final dual of the night for the Wheelers, they won 35-30 over Woodbine. Audubon went 5-3 in matches wrestled against Woodbine. Leyton and Lane Elmquist picked up wins against agents Woodbine as Stanerson went 3-0 with a win by fall. Audubon went 2-1 during the quad. The Wheelers are back in action on Saturday at the Harlan tournament.

Coon Rapids-Bayard at Manson NW Webster Quad
The Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders went 1-1 at Manson Northwest Webster on Thursday, picking up a win over Southeast Valley and falling to Manson. The Crusaders also faced Panorama, but that ended in a tie. CRB fell 51-24 to Manson NW Webster. In the dual, the Crusades only won three matches, with Johny Cortez, Ethan Bauer, and Treynor Cose picking up the wins. In CRB’s second dual, they beat SE Valley 41-30. Coon Rapids-Bayard again won three matches in Dual, with Cortez, Bauer, and Cose each picking up another win. The Crusaders are back in action on Saturday at the Woodward-Granger Tournament.

East Sac County went 0-3 on Thursday in a quad at MMCRU. Thursday was ESC’s first duals of the season. To start off the event, they lost 48-30 to MMCRU. The Raiders picked up three wins in the dual, with Dawson Allen, Seth Donelson, and Emmett Hemer picking up victories. ESC struggled against Ridge View, falling 78-6. Seth Donelson picked up the lone win for the Raiders in the dual, moving to 2-0 on the night. In the final dual for the Raiders, they fell to Westwood 64-18. ESC picked up three wins in the match. Donelson went 3-0 on the night with a win by fall in 55 seconds. Xander Hemer and Tyler Renze picked up the other wins in the dual. The Raider will be back on the mat on Saturday at the Manson NW Webster tournament.

Carroll vs Boone and Webster City
The Carroll Tigers opened up their season with two wins on Thursday, beating Boone and Webster City. Carroll started off the home meet, picking up a close win over Webster City 39-38. Carroll went 7-6 in matches wrestled against Webster City. Six of the seven wins came by fall for Carroll. The Tigers secured the win with pins late in the match by Carson and Collin Tedrow. In Carroll’s second match of the night, they beat Boone 49-21. The Tigers picked up five wins in matches wrestled. Owen Klocke, Quinten Polking, and Carson Tedrow each went 2-0 on the night. With the wins, Carroll starts the season 2-0. The Tigers are back in action on Saturday at Dallas Center-Grimes.
