Girls Wrestling Results Saturday, November 23rd 

Kuemper and South Central Calhoun At Ridge View Invitational 

Kuemper and South Central Calhoun opened their season at the Ridge View Invite with 21 schools competing. The Knights finished the day going 11-18 in matches with 7 wins by fall, a tech fall, a major decision and 2 by decision. The Knights scored 45.5-points, finishing 16th. South Central Calhoun went 6-16 in matches with all 6 wins by fall. They ended up in 19th place with 29-points. 

Cara Schuette (145) and Charlotte Schwabe (155) both went 3-2 for Kuemper with Schuette taking 5th place with two wins by decision and a major decision (12-3). Schwabe won all three of her matches by fall, finishing in 7th place. Anna Schuette (140) went 2-3, taking 6th place with both wins by fall and Ashlyn Stewart (115) was 6th, going 2-3 with a win by fall and a tech fall (15-0).

Audubon At Western Iowa Tournament At West Monona 

Audubon had an individual champ and placed two of the five girls that wrestled on Saturday. They finished the meet going 8-8 in matches with 6 wins by fall and a pair of decisions. The Wheelers scored 45-points, taking 10th place as a team. 

Macy Rasmussen (120) was sharp in her high school debut. The freshman went 3-0 with a pair of wins by fall and earned a 6-0 win in her championship match. Jordan Mulford (110) went 4-2 with all 4 wins by fall, finishing in 5th. Laura McCarville (125) earned the Wheelers final win, going 1-2 with a win by decision.
