State Boys Cross Country Results Saturday, November 2nd
Redge Potts of South Central Calhoun finished 31st on Saturday with a 17:06.0, Landon Sporrer of East Sac was 62nd in 17:34.7 and Riley Aragon of East Sac finished in 71st, running 17:46.7. Potts started well, running around a 5:09 in the opening mile, sitting in 29th place. He ran into issues a little while later, batting through an injury over the final mile plus. Sporrer started well, getting out a little quicker than he wanted as the pace at state is quick. He ran well the first mile and settled into his pace for the next mile. He hoped to keep that pace over the final mile but slipped back in the pack. Riley Aragon closed the race strong, sitting in 97th place after two miles. He worked his way through the crowd of runners, moving up to 71st to end the race.
