Ar-We-Va established the running game early with Wyatt Ragaller finishing with 211-yards on the ground and seven touchdowns rushing. They took advantage of three early miscues by Fremont-Mills, turning them into points, leading 18-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and 38-14 at half. The offensive line did a tremendous job against a three-man front to start the game and adjusted well when the Knights went to a four-man front. Blayne Smith hit several key passes, helping keep drives alive and the pressure off the run game. Ar-We-Va dominated the game from start to finish, advancing into a 2nd round matchup with Lenox on Friday.
Wyatt Ragaller opened the scoring with a 30-yard touchdown run, following it up with a 3-yard touchdown run and a 10-yard scamper, putting the Rockets up 18-0 at the end of the 1st quarter. The defense did their part in the 1st half, creating a pair of fumbles and an interception, setting the Rockets up with short fields. Damon Thomsen and Weston Toft both recovered a fumble and Tyson Von Glan had an interception, returning it 8-yards. Blayne Smith hit Wyatt Ragaller for a 34-yard touchdown early in the 2nd quarter, helping the Rockets extend their lead. Fremont-Mills answered with a 1-yard run but Wyatt Ragaller scored his fourth rushing touchdown of the night, on a 55-yard run, then added another touchdown late in the half and Ar-We-Va held a 38-14 lead at half.
The Ar-We-Va offense ran for 228-yards and kept the pressure on to start the 2nd half. Wyatt ragaller scored, extending the lead to 44-14. Fremont Mills defense came up with a play, getting a safety, pulling with 44-16 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Ragaller added his seventh rushing touchdown of the game in the 4th quarter. The Rockets finished with 228-yards rushing and 164-yards passing.
Wyatt Ragaller carried the ball 33 times for 211-yards with 7 touchdowns. He caught 7 passes for 101-yards and a touchdown. Blayne Smith was 16-24 passing for 159-yards with a touchdown. Tyon Von Glan had 11.5 tackles with an interception. Devon Ehlers added 11 tackles.
The Rockets improved to 6-3 on the season. They head to Lenox on Friday on the CB Sports Network YouTube Channel.
