Girls State Qualifying Cross Country Meet Results Thursday, October 24th 

Ar-We-Va, IKM-Manning and South Central Calhoun At ACGC- Class 1A

Iris Melody of South Central Calhoun advances to the State Cross Country Meet next week in Fort Dodge, running a 20:42.30 to finish in 4th place at the meet in Guthrie Center. Melody will be making her second trip to the State Meet. IKM-Manning ran well as a team, just missing out qualifying as a team or sending individuals. The Wolves finished 3rd with 88-points, behind ACGC with 68-points and Panorama with 71-points. Raegan Garrison led the Wolves in 11th place, running a 21:29.50. She was followed by Emily Albertsen (22:39.00) in 16th place and Taylor Beckendorf (22:41.50) in 17th place. South Central Calhoun took 6th place with 132-points with Bre Patterson taking 23rd place in 23:40.70. Gabrielle Hundling led Ar-We-Va, which ran two runners, taking 40th in 25:24.50. Lili Denton of St Albert won the meet in 18:25.90 with Kylie Rochholz of Panorama in 2nd place in 20:05.30 and Ava Campbell of ACGC 3rd in 20:29.60.

East Sac At Unity Christian- Class 2A

Libbie Veit of East Sac finished a strong season, taking 34th as the only Raiders runner on Thursday in Orange City. She ran a 23:12.97. Unity Christian won the meet with 33-points, ahead of Roland Story in 2nd place with 69-points. Addison Liston of Unity Christian and Katie Young of Unity Christian took 1st and 2nd in 19:15.50 and 19:56.45 respectively.
