Boys Cross Country Results For Thursday, October 24th

Audubon and IKM-Manning at ACGC

Audubon and IKM-Manning all ran at ACGC on Thursday to get a chance to qualify for the state cross-country meet coming up next week. No local teams or individual runners qualified for the state meet on Thursday. IKM-Manning finished in fifth as a team at the meet. Camden Morris finished 16th for the Wolves, running a time of 19:05.01. Nathanael Conner finished second on the IKM-Manning team with a time of 19:30.60, which was good for 22nd. Kasche Huehn finished 24th for IKM-Manning, running a time of 19:39.80. The Audubon Wheelers only had one runner as Brody Shultes finished in 47th with a time of 20:59.50. ACGC won the meet with a team score of 51. Parker Heisterkamp of St. Albert won the meet with a time of 17:14.50.

East Sac at Unity Christian

The East Sac County Raiders punched a couple of individual tickets to the state cross-country meet that is coming up next week. Landon Sporrer was the top finisher for ESC, coming tenth with a time of 17:08.57. The tenth-place finish for Sporrer was good enough to qualify him for the state meet. The other Raider who qualified for the state meet was Riley Aragon. Aragon came in 13th, running a time of 17:20.35. Owen Engel just missed the cut to qualify by coming in 22nd running with a time of 17:51.30. As a team, the Raiders came in sixth with a score of 184. Spirit Lake won the meet with 56 total points. Brandon Hughes of Spirit Lake came in first place with a time of 16:00.36.

Redge Potts finished in third place at the meet, running a time of 17:27.85. The third-place finish is good enough to qualify him for the state meet. Derek Greene of SCC finished in 77th, running a time of 22:35.59. Landen Evans came in 78th with a time of 22:38.99. Kyle Wagoner of Clarinda finished in first running a time of 16:49.89.
