Girls Cross Country Results Wednesday, October 23rd
Kuemper At Gilbert At Iowa State University Course
Kaci Wiederien paced the Kuemper girls at the State Qualifying meet in Ames on Wednesday, hosted by Gilbert. Wiederien, who has led the Knights all season finished 39th in 21:37.20. Kuemper had two runners in the top 50, with Addie Davis taking 48th in 22:16.80. They other four runners were between 60th and 71st, running together in a good grouping. Kuemper finished in 11th place with 267-points. Sioux Center won the meet with 54-points with Gilbert in 2nd place with 72-points. Anika Larson of Ballard was the champion, running a 18:47.10. Natalie Anderson finished in 2nd place with a 18:50.30. Sioux Center had four of the top eleven finishers.
