Brincks Exteriors Sports Report: Kuemper Boys Cross Country Results From State Qualifying

Boys Cross Country Results Wednesday, October 23rd 

Kuemper At Gilbert At Iowa State University Course 

Kuemper ran into a tough district with several kids running their season bests, helping them qualify for the State Meet in Fort Dodge next week. The Knights finished 7th as a team with 174-points, behind Algona, which was 6th with 165-points. Dayton Wiederien led the Knights as he has all season, finishing in 21st place, just missing qualifying for State. He finished with a 17:02.80, just off his season best. Fletch Badding was 25th, giving the Knights two runners in the top 25. Badding ran a 17:09.80. Evan Schaefer finished in 29th for the Knights. Gilbert won the meet with 15-points, sweeping the top five individual spots. Carson Squires won the meet in 15:12.50 with Logan Bleich in 2nd in 15:48.00.
