The Glidden-Ralston Wildcats have their season come to an end on Friday as they fall at home to St. Edmond of Fort Dodge. Glidden-Ralston played a physical defense and struggled to move the ball. The game started close, but St. Edmond pulled away in the fourth quarter. St. Edmond scored a touchdown in the first quarter, and they would take an early lead of 8-0. Neither team scored in the second quarter as the Wildcats would be down 8-0 at the half. Glidden-Ralston was able to get on the board in the third quarter as Lucas Christian had a rushing touchdown. The Wildcats would still trail going to the fourth quarter 8-6. Colby Wallace added a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter, but Glidden-Ralston would go on to lose 26-12.

Colby Wallace was the Wildcats’ leading rusher, with 73 yards on 21 carries and a touchdown. Wallace was also 7-18 for 128 yards through the air. Lucas Christian added 64 yards and a rushing touchdown on the ground in the loss. Christian was also the leading receiver for the Wildcats, with two receptions for 67 yards. Alex Daniel had 10.5 tackles to lead Glidden-Ralston. With the loss, the Wildcats’ season comes to an end at 3-5.
