Kuemper at Hawkeye Ten Conference Meet in Carroll

The Kuemper Knights had five runners finish in the top 30 runners on Thursday at the Hawkeye Ten Conference meet. As a team, Kuemper finished third with 100 team points. Dayton Wiederin finished in eighth place for Kuemper, running a time of 17:04.17. Fletch Badding wrapped up a top-15 finish, coming in 12th with a time of 17:55.23. Evan Schaefer was third on the Kuemper team, running 18:41.60. Lewis Central won the conference meet with 28 total points. Kevin Coots of Lewis Central won the meet finishing with a time of 16:04.80.

East Sac County and South Central Calhoun at Twin Lakes Conference Meet

South Central Calhoun and East Sac County ran at the Twin Lakes Conference meet on Thursday at Iowa Lakes Community College. Four area runners finished in the top ten at the meet Thursday. Redge Potts of South Central Calhoun won the meet, running a time of 16:57.8. Landon Sporrer of East Sac County was the top finisher for the Raiders as he came in fourth with a time of 17:43.7. Riley Aragon and Owen Engel also finished the top ten for ESC. Aragon finished in fifth with a time of 18:05.8, and Engel came in eighth, running a time of 18:33.9. Joe Thelin of South Central Calhoun just finished outside the top 20, coming in 21st with a time of 20:09.1. East Sac County finished in third as a team with 72 points. SCC finished in sixth as a team with 147 points.
