Carroll led early in set one but fell behind midway through the set and fell in three sets to the 9th ranked Wildcats. The Tigers hit .080 at the net on 87 attempts with six players finishing with at least one kill. Carlisle controlled the late part of set one, the second and third sets with their serve, keeping the Tigers from getting clean looks at the net.
Carroll took a 1-0 lead in set one before falling behind 2-1. They quickly responded with a kill from Olivia Rowedder, followed by a kill from Katelyn Aden and Carroll was up 3-2. The lead grew to 6-2 with an ace from Olivia Rowedder and a kill from Amanda Wardell. Carlisle chipped away at the Carroll lead but Analia Ayala had three kills in a four-point stretch, putting Carroll up 12-8. The Tigers maintained the lead around four-points, going up 14-10. Carlisle went on a 3-0 run but Katelyn Aden had a kill to put the Tigers up 15-13. The Wildcats went on a 4-0 run to take the lead for good and ended the set on a 15-5 run to win 25-19.
Olivia Rowedder tied set two at 1 with a kill but Carlislle took control of the set early, going up 6-2. Amanda Wardell pulled Carroll within 6-3 but the Wildcats went on a 10-0 run. Analia Ayala had a kill to stop the run but Carroll trailed 16-4. Carlisle took a two nothing lead with a 25-9 win. Carlisle started set three with a 6-0 run with Chloe Kock making a block to get the Tigers on the board. Olivia Rowedder had a kill followed by an ace from Kiyah Wittrock, pulling Carroll within 7-3. A Katelyn Aden kill pulled Carroll within 8-4 but Carlisle stretched the lead to 13-5. Kills from Analia Ayala and Chloe Kock pulled Carroll within 13-7. The Wildcats went back up nine but Carroll made another rally, pulling within 19-14 on an ace from Emily Puck. Olivia Rowedder and Chloe Kock had a few kills late but Carlisle went on to win 25-20.
Emily Puck had 21 assists to go with 6 digs. Olivia Rowedder led the Tigers with 10 kills with Katelyn Aden adding 8 kills and Analia Ayala had 5 kills. Marasyn Wittrock had a team high 10 digs with Aubrie Drake and Olivia Rowedder both having 7 digs.
The loss drops the Tigers to 16-17 overall and 1-6 in the Raccoon River Conference. They travel to Boone on Thursday.

The Kuemper Knights wrapped up the conference portion of their schedule on Tuesday with a win on senior night over Harlan. Kuemper trailed at one point in every set as the Knights got off to a slow start. Despite Harlan losing, they did a good job of slowing down Kuemper’s offense and making them play at their own pace. Harlan jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first set. The Knights were able to tie it up at 7-7 and took the lead at 9-8. Kuemper would control the rest of the set as they went on to win 25-13 and take a 1-0 lead over Harlan. The second set was close early as it was tied 4-4 to start. Kuemper took a 5-4 lead and went on to win the set 25-15. The third set was the closest of the match. It was tied six different times. Harlan held a lead early at 10-8. The Knights came storming back to take a 14-10 lead, forcing a Harlan timeout. After the timeout, Harlan went on a 5-0 run to take a 15-14 lead. The Knights would grab the lead back at 16-15 and went on to win the third set 25-17. With the 3-0 win over Harlan, the Knights clinched a share of the Hawkeye Ten Conference Championship.
Kuemper was great serving the ball, as they combined for 13 aces as a team. Kolbi Peter went on serving runs in the second and third sets that helped Kuemper take leads late. Peter recorded a team-high four aces in the win. Mariah Heuton had a team-high nine kills for Kuemper. Brianna Wittrock added five blocks. With the win, Kuemper improves to 34-2. Kuemper is back in action on Thursday against Sergeant Bluff-Luton.

Paton Churdan earned their third win of the season, picking up a road win on Tuesday night. They dropped the first set, losing late 25-23 but took charge of the match over the next three sets, winning 25-16, 25-17 and 25-14 in set four to complete the comeback. The Rockets stayed aggressive over the final three sets and did a nice job fighting through a late loss in set one to take the momentum right away in set two. Their confidence grew as the match went on and played very focused.
Mia Russell had a huge night with 12 kills and 15 digs with Alivya Smith keeping Colo-Nesco out-of-system with a strong serve, finishing with 5 aces. Grace Cullum added 12 assists.
The Rockets improved to 3-9 on the season. They travel to Ogden on Thursday.

Audubon and IKM-Manning At Missouri Valley
IKM-Manning had a strong night winning three of their four matches, having to rally back twice, down one set to none to win both matches. The Wolves went 7-4 in sets played with hard fought 2-1 wins over Audubon and AHSTW. They dropped the opening set to Audubon 21-18, before winning the next two, 21-8 and 15-4. AHSTW won the opening set 21-15 but the Wolves took the next two 2-10, 15-9. IKM-Manning swept LoMa 21-19 and 21-14 before falling to Missouri Valley in three, losing 21-18 in the opening set, winning set two 21-15 but falling in the final set 15-10.
The Audubon Wheelers wrapped up the conference portion of their schedule as they played three matches in the consolation round of the WIC tournament. Audubon went 1-2 at Missouri Valley on Tuesday. The Wheelers battled with IKM-Manning in their first match, which went to three sets, but Audubon fell 2-1. Audubon won the first set 21-18 but then dropped the last two 21-8, and 15-4. The Wheelers bounced back in their second match, picking up a 2-0 win over Logan-Magnolia. Audubon won each set convincingly with a 21-16 and 21-13 win in the two sets. In the Wheeler’s final match of the night, they lost to Missouri Valley. The Wheelers lost 2-0, dropping the sets 21-16 and 21-12.
Keagan Eischeid had 33 kills to lead the Wolves with Addisyn Bandow having 23 kills and Grace Carroll 11 kills. Karlee Arp had 67 assists along with 22 digs and 6 aces, a team high. Anna Stangl paced the back row with 42 digs with Grace Carroll adding 31 digs, Addisyn Bandow had 23 digs and Olivia Linde finished with 14 digs. Addisyn Bandow had a team high 9 blocks with Katelyn Bandow adding 7 blocks. Grace Carroll finished with 4 aces.
Harlow Miller had a great night at the net for the Wheelers. She recorded a team-high 22 kills and eight blocks. Anna Larsen picked up a team-high 40 assists total in the three matches for Audubon. Miller led the team in digs with 18. As a team, Audubon had 21 aces on the night.
The Wolves head to Woodbury Central on Monday to open postseason with a 13-16 record. Audubon’s record moves to 8-21. The Wheelers are back in action on Monday against Coon Rapids-Bayard.
