The IKM-Manning Wolves wrap up their district schedule with a win on the road at Southwest Valley to stop a four-game losing streak. IKM-Manning fell down early and was able to rally for the win. Southwest Valley scored a touchdown in the first quarter to take an early 6-0 lead over the Wolves. IKM-Manning would respond in the second quarter as they took their first lead at 7-6. The game would remain close as neither team would score going into the fourth quarter. IKM-Manning added another touchdown in the fourth quarter, and they would go on to win 13-6.
The Wolves ran the ball well, recording over 170 yards on the ground. Ben Langel led the rushing attack with 74 yards and a touchdown for IKM-Manning. Ben Ramsey completed over 60 percent of his passes, going 8-13 for 106 yards in the win. Davis Rasmussen led the Wolves in tackles with nine and had two tackles for loss. With the win, IKM-Manning improves to 3-4. The Wolves are back in action on Friday against Logan-Magnolia.
