Carroll At Johnston Invite
The Tigers had three girls available to swim on Saturday and weren’t able to swim in any relays, limiting their opportunities to score points as four of the top ten teams in the state were at the meet. Carroll swam well in their individual events with Meidy Villalva dropping 18.5 seconds in her 200 free, finishing in 23rd place in 3:23.16. Villalva cut another 2.25 seconds off her best time in the 100 free, taking 27th place in 1:32.78. Alexis Borkowski had the best finish for Carroll, taking 16th in the 100 breast as she dropped 1.25 seconds. She swam a 1:21.41. Dowling won the meet with 327-points and Waukee Northwest finished 2nd with 259-points.
