East Sac At South Central Calhoun
Bre Patterson led South Central Calhoun and Libbie Veit paced East Sac as their only runner in Lake City on Tuesday at the South Central Calhoun- Brian Knapp Invite. The Titans had two runners in the top 30, led by Patterson in 18th place, running a 22:58.58. Jossa Haupert in her first season in cross country continues to grow and shows great potential, finished 29th in 24:21.93. Libbie Veit of East Sac, coming off her season best time on Saturday at Pocahontas Area, finished 24th for the Raiders, running a 23:41.66. South Central Calhoun finished in 6th place with 126-points with Sioux Central-Sioux Rapids winning the meet with 57-points, just ahead of Ridge View with 66-points. Nora Peterson of Alta-Aurelia continues her fantastic season, winning with a 18:05.63. Tyra Schupbach, took 2nd on Saturday at Pocahontas Area and was 2nd on Tuesday in Lake City with a 18:48.25.
