IKM-Manning At Nodaway Valley

IKM-Manning ran well on a hilly course near Greenfield on Monday, taking 3rd place with 92-points, just ahead of the host school in Nodaway Valley, which scored 97-points. The Wolves had two runners in the top 17 and their top five guys in the top 27. Isaac Blankman paced the Wolves, finishing 11th in 18:34.60 with Nathanael Conner taking 17th place in 19:02.00. Blankman led the race out of the starting box and had a strong first mile. He hung in the top 10 most of the race and had a strong close to pass two runners in the final half mile. Conner started where he wanted near the middle of the pack and eventually worked his way up the pack, catching his teammate Abe Polzien. He ran with him for a while and then made his move, working his way through more runners, using the downhills. Tri Center won the meet with three of the top four individuals, led by Haven Weers in 17:39.20. Teegan Dorenkamp of Martensdale St Mary’s was 2nd in 17:53.20.

Audubon At Woodbine

Brody Schultes led Audubon in 24th place, running a 22:41.07 as the Wheelers only runner. Woodbine won the meet with 23-points, having five runners in the top eight with Gunner Wagner the champion with a 17:39.15. Dane Gorham of Boyer Valley was 2nd, running a 18:00.36. Missouri Valley finished 2nd as a team with 41-points.
