Boys Cross Country Results Saturday, October 5th
Redge Potts earned an individual title on Saturday at Pocahontas, leading South Central Calhoun with a 16:23.51. He had a strategy on how he wanted run and did a nice job of keeping his set pace through the first-two miles. He closed the race well to earn the win. East Sac had two runners in the top 10, helping them finish in 5th overall with 134-points. Owen Engel paced them with a strong run, going out a little strong on the first mile but was on his two mile pace. He finished 4th in 17:10.36. Riley Aragon gave the Raiders another runner in the top 7, taking 7th in 17:43.57. South Central Calhoun ended the day in 7th place with 164-points with Sioux Central-Sioux Rapids winning the meet with 45-points and Manson NW Webster having 73-points to take 2nd place. Thatcher Oswald of Manson NW Webster finished in 2nd place with a 16:36.87.
