East Sac squeezed out a win over Coon Rapids Bayard in three sets on Tuesday, rallying in set one and starting quickly in set three. Coon Rapids Bayard suffered their second loss of the season, leading by as many as 7 in the opening set before seeing the lead slip away. They used a 4-0 run to pull away in set two and send the match into the decisive third set.
Coon Rapids Bayard led 7-3 and 11-4 to start set one but East Sac kept chipping away tying the set at 15 before taking their first lead of 18-17. Malia Clayburg was huge at the net early and the Crusaders were keeping the Raiders out of system with a tough serve. East Sac adjusted, putting a double block on Clayburg while getting their offense into a rhythm with Katelyn Schmitt, Kendall Quirk and Addisen Ehler starting finding some seems. The Raiders pulled away after taking the lead and won 25-21. Coon Rapids Bayard used a 4-0 run in set two when the match was tied at 10 and never looked back. They covered and talked extremely well during the set, allowing them to stay aggressive. East Sac struggled defensively with communication and began to tip and dump as they were out of system. The Crusaders forced a third set with a 25-20 win. The Raiders took charge early in the third set, going up 8-4. They never trailed and went on to win the match with a 15-11 victory.
Addisen Ehler paced the Raiders with 11 kills with Katelyn Schmitt adding 7 kills and Kendall Quirk finishing with 6 kills. Schmitt added a team high 14 digs with Ella Wilson having 11 digs and a pair of aces. Emerson Ludwig finished with 3 blocks and Jordin Carroll had 26 assists and 6 digs.
Malia Clayburg had big game for the Crusaders with 14 kills and 23 digs. Ashtyn Klocke added 5 kills to go with 5 digs. Amelia Cook paced the Crusaders with 26 assists with Anna Hart having 19 digs and Ella Heithoff adding 13 digs.

IKM-Manning notched their best win of the season, defeating 13th ranked Coon Rapids Bayard in two sets. The Wolves held off several Coon Rapids Bayard runs in set one, then held off a Crusaders rally in set two, winning both sets by two points. Coon Rapids Bayard had chances in both sets tying set one at 22 and set two at 24.
IKM-Manning stretched their lead to 12-7 in set one with a good service run by Karlee Arp with Addisyn Bandow and Keagan Eischied swinging well at the net. They extended the lead to 16-10 with Malia Clayburg in the back row for Coon Rapids Bayard. The Crusaders rallied to pull within 17-16 but IKM-Manning responded to lead 22-16 with Keagan Eischeid at the service line. Addisyn Bandow had key kills from the left. Coon Rapids Bayard stopped the run and Ella Heithoff served them on a run. The Crusaders tied the set at 22 but Karlee Arp had a big block to put the Wolves up 23-22. They pulled out a 25-23 win to take a 1-0 lead.
IKM-Manning started quick in set two, going up 4-1. Coon Rapids Bayard rallied and appeared to take control, getting up 10-8 with Malia Clayburg serving. Keagan Eischeid had a big kill to shift momentum and IKM-Manning tied the set at 12. They went back on top, taking a 17-14 lead but Coon Rapids Bayard rallied again with Maddy Mason getting a big block, pulling the Crusaders within 18-17. Addisyn Bandow took control for IKM-Manning, pushing them back up 22-18. The Crusaders again rallied with Amelia Cook serving, they pulled within 23-22, then tied it at 23. The match was tied at 24 but Addisyn Bandow put the Wolves up 25-24 before Keagan Eischeid and Katelyn Bandow made big block to end it.
Addisyn Bandow had several clutch kills for IKM-Manning, leading them with 9 kills with Keagan Eischeid adding 7 kills along with 9 digs and 5 blocks. Grace Carroll chipped in 3 blocks and 6 digs with Anna Stangl patrolling the back row with 14 digs. Karlee Arp dished out 15 assists to go with 3 blocks with Katelyn Bandow having 4 big blocks. Olivia Linde had a strong game in the back row with 6 digs.
Anna Hart had a strong game in the back row with 14 digs. Amelia Cook passed for 18 assists and 5 digs. Malia Clayburg had another strong match with 8 kills and 10 digs. Ashtyn Klocke had 5 kills and Ella Heithoff finished with 8 digs.
The Crusaders fell to 14-3 overall and will head to Glidden Ralston on Tuesday.

East Sac finished off the night with a come from behind win over IKM-Manning which one the opening set. The Raiders started quick in all three sets, holding the lead through set three but IKM-Manning rallied to win late in set one and took the lead midway through set two before the Raiders pulled away.
The Raiders built an 8-2 lead early but IKM-Manning cut it to 8-4 before Kendall Quirk had big block to give the momentum back to East Sac. The Raiders stretched the lead back to 12-4 and were up 16-8 before IKM-Manning roared back. The Wolves went on a run, pulling with 16-12, then went on a 9-5 run to tie it at 21 on a kill from Addisyn Bandow. The Wolves took their first lead of the set at 22-21 with Addisyn Bandow putting them up 24-22 with another kill. IKM-Manning finished the rally with a 25-22 win, scoring 17 of the last 23 points of the set. East Sac went up early again in set two but IKM-Manning rallied again, taking a 12-10 win. This time it was the Raiders going on a run, jumping up 14-12 before pulling away to win 25-19, sending the match into a third set. The Raiders controlled set three, pulling out a 15-10 win to seal their 2-0 night. The Wolves went 1-1 in matches on Monday.
Addisen Ehler took over at the net for the Raiders, finishing with 16 kills with Katelyn Schmitt with 6 kills and Kendall Quirk with 5 kills. Jordin Carroll had a strong match with 27 assists and 11 digs. Ella Wilson added 8 digs and a pair of aces. Katelyn Schmitt had another big night in the back row with 15 digs.
Keagan Eischeid paced the Wolves with 12 kills and 12 digs. Addisyn Bandow added 9 kills with Grace Carroll finishing with 7 kills and 10 digs with a pair of blocks. Karlee Arp dished out 24 assists with Anna Stangl having 10 digs and Caylie Rasmussen adding 6 digs.
The Raiders improved to 15-6 and will travel to ACGC on Tuesday. IKM-Manning moved to 3-7 and travels to Tri Center on Tuesday.
